RVs and travel trailers are great to use from April to August when the sun is warm! However, before April it probably sat 6 months or longer. Detailing will get the green off and the roof clean again!
What you need
Car wash soap and a brush– use good car wash soap as you will removing mildew and algae and a soft brush to scrub your RV or trailer.
High gloss soap– This soap is to finish the cleaning with a nice glossy finish!
Tire Shine and metal polish– Before you can leave to your camp site your tires, rims, and metal must look nice!
Garden Hose– This is to rinse down and wet your cleaning surface
Cleaning you travel trailer or RV
The first step is to clean the roof: Scrub the roof and when walking on the roof make sure to walk on the ribs so you do not damage the roof!
Clean the sides and tires: Be careful not to spray your garden hose in your fridge access panels as it can wreck the fridge.
Once all the green, dirt, and mildew have been washed off. Apply your high gloss soap. Do not forget to apply your tire shine and shine the metal up.
Last but not least admire your work. A 36 foot RV or trailer using this method takes about 8 hours.
